Elizabeth City, N.C.—Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) is rolling out the blueprints to success, bringing on-site admissions, scholarships and transfer credit evaluations directly to communities across the state. The “Blueprint: Build Your Future at ECSU” tour kicks off Feb. 15 in Charlotte, with stops in Winston-Salem March 29 and Raleigh April 5.

ECSU designed this tour to help prospective students map their educational futures with ECSU, offering personalized pathways to success.

“ECSU’s Blueprint Tour represents more than just an opportunity to apply—it’s an opportunity to dream,” said Interim Chancellor Catherine Edmonds. “We’re meeting students where they are, both geographically and in their educational journeys, and showing them how ECSU can be a foundation for their aspirations.”

During each stop, attendees will have access to:

  • On-site admissions: Apply to ECSU and receive decisions on the spot.
  • Scholarship opportunities: Learn about funding to make college more affordable.
  • Transfer credit evaluations: Get a head start by finding out how your existing credits align with ECSU’s programs.

Attendees can expect to engage with alumni, athletics and residence life team members, as well as current students. Additionally, financial aid experts will be available to offer personalized information on financial support, scholarships and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Interim Chancellor Catherine Edmonds will also be present to engage with prospective students and their families and to award three $1,000 scholarships.

With the tagline “Build Your Future at ECSU,” the tour supports the university’s commitment to fostering excellence and creating a pathway for success for all its students.

“Just as every great structure begins with a blueprint, every student’s academic journey begins with a plan,” said Karen Lucas, associate vice chancellor for enrollment management. “Our goal is to help students envision their future. ECSU is more than a university—it’s a launchpad for their dreams.”
