North Carolina Community College transfer students who have earned an AA or AS degree meeting the requirements of the North Carolina Comprehensive Articulation Agreement should refer to the Elizabeth City State University North Carolina Community College Degree Plans.
We’ll make the transfer process clear and simple. Use the processes and requirements below as a guide. If you have any questions, please contact us.
- Submit an official college transcript(s) for all colleges attended or attempted coursework
- Minimum cumulative GPA in college-level coursework: 2.0
- Submit official final high school transcript, official SAT/ACT test scores and meet the Minimum Admission Requirements (MARs) and
Minimum Course requirements (MCRs):

- Completed high school with at least a cumulative 2.5 GPA OR
- 1010 SAT or ACT Composite 19
- Minimum Course Requirements (MCRs) :
- Four units of English
- Four units of Math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and an Advanced Math)
- Three units of Science (Biological Science, Physical Science, and a Science with a Lab)
- Two units of Social Studies, including one unit of US History
- Two additional academic courses from English, mathematics, science, social studies, world languages, or computer science. (Note: these courses should be selected in alignment with a student’s academic and career objectives. Completion of two sequential world language courses is recommended.)

- Submit an official college transcript(s) for all colleges attended or attempted coursework
- Minimum cumulative GPA from last school attended: 2.0

TRANSFER CREDITS
If you have taken a course for which you do not agree with the credit granted, please complete the form below. Please note that the re-evaluation may take up to 3 business days.
A student from the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) who does not believe that the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) has been honored may invoke the CAA Transfer Credit Appeal Procedure, located here.
