International Students
Where all leaders are welcome
How to Apply
If you’re a non-native English speaker or you currently reside in a country outside the U.S., please reference the admissions requirements below.
- Review and meet all admissions requirements for new students.
- Fill out Financial Guarantee Form, which must be completed by both you and your VISA sponsor (if applicable). The form will ask you to certify that you can, through direct financial support or other funding, pay for your education. The minimum amount students must account for is $19,234 (USD).
- Complete, sign and return the International Student Data Form.
- Provide a photocopy of the identification page(s) in your passport or official document showing the first and last name you will be using while in the United States.
- If you are currently F-1 status inside the United States: Provide the International Admissions Office with documents confirming your current legal status. These can include:
- Certificate of Eligibility (I-20)
- I-94 (front and back)
- A valid passport and U.S. visa stamp pages
You must also complete the SEVIS transfer process. The Transfer Clearance Form will be provided to you once you have been admitted to the University and submit all required documents requested by the International Admissions. You may contact the International Admissions by phone or e-mail to obtain additional information regarding transfer clearance.
- If you hold another immigrant status: Please confirm your legal status by providing a copy of your legal document(s) before you enroll.
If you are unable to meet the requirements above or supply the required documents before the next semester, you may be able to apply and defer admission until the next term. Please contact the appropriate admissions office for details regarding deferment requests.
Special Note: Form issuance, visa application and entry to the United States, as well as reporting to the school after arrival now require electronic registration in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System maintained by USCIS. Therefore, students must enter the U.S. before the last day of class registration of the enrollment semester. Students entering or attempting to enter the U.S. on an I-20 issued for a begin date AFTER the last date for approved registration WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE OUT OF STATUS and may be required to apply for reinstatement and/or face immediate deportation.
