James Goar

Jim Goar holds a Ph.D. in Creative and Critical Writing: Poetry from the University of East Anglia (UK). He is the author of the poetry and flash fiction books The Dustbowl, The Louisiana Purchase, and Seoul Bus Poems. His poetry can be found in Harvard Review, Poetry Wales, Cimarron Review, English, Jacket Magazine, and LIT, and his articles have appeared or are forthcoming from ELH, College Literature, and Criticism. At ECSU, Goar teaches composition, world literature, and classes centered on poetry and poetics.
